Writer intends picture books to 'inspire readers to be compassionate, courageous, empathetic, 'can do' changemakers'

115 copies of ONE LITTLE PIG were recently included in 115 sweet cases created for foster children.

Donating 115 Books to Foster Children


Decorating & assembling sweet cases with Portland-based Uppity Women's Social Club. 115 copies of ONE LITTLE PIG were included in the cases, which were then gifted to children entering Oregon's foster care system.

Laura Lee Scott's ONE LITTLE PIG named finalist in 2019 Oregon Christian Writers' Cascade Writing Awards  for "Best Published Children's Book." 

Gifting to needy families at 5 Rock Ranch


During the 2019 holiday season, Laura continued her ongoing support of 5 Rock Ranch with book and gift donations for families. RR5 is a Christian healing center intent on helping the broken and lost find faith, hope, and love.
